Annual Grand Lake Boat & Sport Show
The most important boat show in
the four-state area is the Grand Lake Boat and Sport
Show hosted by the Grand Lake Association held in Grove.
The dates of the Grand Lake Boat Show are March 14, 15
and 16.
The Grand
Lake show is really the last one of the season, held in
Grove at the Civic Center at 18th and Main.
This will be the Grand Lake Association’s 11th Boat Show
and many special events are in the planning stages for
this show. Besides boat dealers, there will be dock
builders, boat lifts, PWC’s, and a multitude of other
local exhibitors.
Every hour
that the show is “open for business” GLA will be holding
drawings for door prizes. This year the Grand Prize is a
four-person Hot Tub. The winner of the Grand Prize Hot
Tub does not have to be present to win; the only
stipulation is to come out to the show and buy a $3.00
(yes, only $3.00) entry ticket.
Since the
Grand Lake Association strives to have fun as well as
educate the public, we are lining up various speakers
and demonstrations to appeal to a large boating and
sporting audience. Some will be on various fishing
techniques, other subjects will be boat safety, boat
maintenance, as well as boat cleaning.
